Important Update – Please Read

As of May 8th 2013, the GIMP ebook available on this site will no longer come with access to the members only area of how-to-gimp.com. In other words, the book will not come with videos and brushes. I may offer a separate video course for GIMP in the future, but for now, the book will be sold on it’s own. The practice images that come with the book will still be available to download (see above).

New Title- The ebook “Before and After” is now “How to GIMP”. I thank all of you for inspiring me to rename it, because almost every email you send calls it How to GIMP anyway. So, a heart felt Thank you to all of you who made it obvious that this should have been the book’s title all along!

There is also a new edition of the book! (I know, so many updates, right?) Again, I want to thank you for giving me the motivation I needed to make this update. You’ve helped me find typos, spelling errors, weird sentences, and a host of other errors that I missed the first time around. I’ve also clarified some points, re-written the introduction, and in general just cleaned up the book.

Last, I’m updating the site! In the near future, the How to GIMP headquarters will move from How-to-GIMP.com to HowToGIMP.com. See? No more dashes! Most of this site will re-direct to the new site in the future. But, the Members Only areas will stay right where they are. Speaking of that…

If you’ve already bought the book and a membership

Don’t panic! You will still have lifetime access to the members only videos at How-to-GIMP.com. And anyone who has a previous edition of Before and After (now How to GIMP) will receive an email about how they can update their copy of the book for free.

One again, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for being the best readers a gal could ask for. Every lovely email, and every nice comment on YouTube makes my heart swell with pride, and I feel so happy every day that in some small way, I’m able to help someone out.

Some of the Nice Things You’ve Said

I purchased your book and membership. I think it is great. I finished reading the entire book. I just started actually working with GIMP. Your book is really laid out great. It is easy to follow and understand. I am not real computer savvy. If I can understand and follow it then anyone can. I have checked out several other books on GIMP. There’s no comparison. YOURS IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST! So many thanks!!!!!!” -Gloria

I just downloaded your eBook, “Before and After”. I’ve already learned a few things this evening. Thanks so much for this easy to follow book. I’ve been wanting to learn GIMP but just dreaded the “learning curve”. Now it doesn’t seem so daunting!” -Laurianne from www.eyedrawit.com

I’m delighted with your book. The layout is brilliant and each step by step explanation is just perfect. In the past I’ve had computer books for ‘Dummies’ and the ‘Brilliant’ books but your Before and After book is a master stroke in its simplicity. So very easy to understand and follow. No more frustration!” -S. Foster

I bought your instruction book on how to work with GIMP (Before and After) and I am delighted. I am only on page 40 because I bought it just yesterday, but I have already learned so much. I know that I will be able to work with, and improve my photos, very soon…I love your book and it is so affordable, it is amazing.” -M. Penick

I have to congratulate you on your book “Before & After”. If all tutorials and manuals were laid out as clearly as this, we could all spend more time at tasks rather than learning…Well Done!” -T. Thornton
